Charles Wilka started out life
simply.
He worked as a bellhop at a local hotel
Near his home of Portland, Oregon.
Eventually, he became annoyed by his mistreatment,
And so he left, to find better employment.
He failed. He started a
punk band,
they called themselves the Wilkapunks.
They sucked. They really sucked.
But as a sign of his dedication,
Charles changed his last name to "Wilkapunk".
Glancing through a magazine one day, he noticed that
There weren't very many robots advertising clothing.
He did a few gigs, but was quickly dismissed.
Apparently advertising for Robot Clothing isn't a big market.
This irked him.
All robots should have the right to advertise clothing...

He led the
Robotic Clothing
rebellion,
Stating proudly that no robot would wear clothing
Until robots had equal rights.
...nobody really cared.
In the words of Bill Abbot,
"Who is this guy?"
Of course, people said the same thing
about Abbot.
Wilkapunk was named after Joe Wilka.
But nobody really knows why,
except that one day Joe Wilka was a punk.
And a robot was named after him.
Joe Wilka
makes movies.
Wilkapunk does not. He eats them.
Here are some pictures from the Wilkapunk's dramatic life.
